
Dr. Loraine Alderman is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist whose career has been defined by both professional excellence and heartfelt advocacy. In May of 2019, she was diagnosed with two cancers in her right breast, a life-changing experience that deepened her already profound empathy for others. An accomplished American author, she is best known for her work on auditory learning disabilities, having co-authored two award-winning books and solo-authored a third on the topic. She has been honored multiple times as Best Psychologist by the readers of the Long Island Press and remains deeply passionate about advocating for children and breast cancer patients alike. Dr. Alderman currently resides in Colorado with her husband of over 40 years and Mojo, her beloved rescue cat.
